Group NAO is happily blooming with new projects, exciting clients and playful ideas, which is why we are looking for a junior research & communications specialist (student position) to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with analytical curiosity, an aptitude for human sciences, great love of language and excellent skills in creative writing.
Group NAO exists to create the change we believe is needed in the global visitor economy and in the broader experience economy. We work with initiatives and projects that empowers resident engagement, regenerative business models and sustainable practices in tourism, culture, cities and communities. YOUR ROLE WITH NAO
As a junior researcher and creative communication specialist, you will be assigned with strategic and creative communication tasks across NAOs projects and platforms. You will also assist with project coordination, take part in execution of market studies and research projects, work with interviewing and reporting of findings. Lastly, you will be supporting our senior partners with strategy conception, workshops and more.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR…
… someone with a curious and analytical mind, whose interest and motivation are easily ignited by a diverse range of tasks and projects. More specifically, you will:
- Conduct interviews, research and co-write articles, cases, reports
- Assist in project coordination and planning
- Help visualise findings in reports, presentations, white papers, articles etc.
- Support the development of new business proposals
- Contribute to client presentations and deliverables
- Produce content for NAOs communication channels (website, social media)
You are currently well into your bachelor’s or just started your master’s in a relevant degree such as sociology, anthropology, political science, urban planning, or communications. You have strong writing and presentation skills, and fair proficiency in the use of Excel and PowerPoint. Danish language is not required, but high professional and playful proficiency in English is.
LOCATION AND BENEFITS
Your base will be our office in Copenhagen. We have a high degree of flexibility – and vary between working from home or remotely during fieldwork, but we also really enjoy our days together in the office.
The position is a student position, salary and benefits according to qualifications and experience.
