Group NAO is growing with new projects, curious clients and playful ideas. We are therefore looking for a Senior Advisor to contribute to our work within AI Applications, strategy development and organisational change – supporting organisations and destinations in navigating meaningful transformation.
For this position, curiosity rules. You bring a playful, thoughtful, exploratory approach to opportunities and challenges – especially to applied AI and its impact on the way we live, work, travel and play as human beings. You work with high personal integrity and a professional confidence, and you are comfortable facilitating processes, shaping conversations, co-creating with others.
Group NAO is a strategy and ideas bureau. We help curious organisations around the world navigate what’s next in emerging technologies, urban development, visitor economy, culture, and the arts. Founded in 2019, NAO has established itself as a trusted partner for strategy development, as creative change makers and communicators, working with clients and partners across Europe and North America. In addition to our strategy and change projects with individual clients, we design and run collaborative research and learning programmes that bring organisations and professionals together to explore shared challenges and opportunities. Currently, our biggest such programme focuses on the responsible adoption and application of AI. Previous collaborative projects have focused on participatory design in destination development and future funding models for tourism.
… someone who brings a strong interest in applied AI tools and their use in organisational and societal contexts, combined with a curious and analytical mindset and strong communication skills. You don’t necessarily need a technical degree or a background in software engineering. Your foundation is perhaps in political science, economics, digital business, international management, or a related field. What matters is that you are drawn to working with digital tools, platforms and concepts. You understand which platforms and tools are used for what, and you are curious about how such tools can support real organisational change.
You may have experience from a strategy consultancy, digital business development, or applied AI projects, and you are motivated to deepen your role in strategy development and implementation. As Senior Advisor, you will contribute to the development and implementation of AI strategies and policies, and support change processes where new tools, workflows, and ways of working are introduced across organisations.
More specifically, you will:
■ Develop and test ideas and solutions using a range of applied AI tools and platforms – both for Group NAO and in client projects.
■ Design and deliver learning and up-skilling activities with clients and partners, including facilitation and coordination in close collaboration with colleagues.
■ Research and analyse topics related to emerging technologies, organisational change, and user and stakeholder behaviour, translating insights into strategic direction.
■ Take responsibility for defined client assignments, including project coordination, planning, and delivery.
■ Contribute to the development of new proposals, concepts, and partnerships as Group NAO explores new opportunities.
■ Produce content that supports NAO’s communication and thought leadership across relevant channels.
You communicate clearly, creatively and confidently. Danish language skills are an advantage, but our working language is primarily English, so high professional proficiency in English is required.
An inspiring, international, and cozy working environment and a set of new colleagues in our Copenhagen office. We thrive when working together with curiosity, humour and constructive challenge to make a real change for our clients and partners.
We offer a high degree of flexibility – and vary between working from home or remotely during fieldwork, but as a small team we also really enjoy our days throughout the week together in the office.
Please send your CV and short cover letter (maximum one page) to junanto@groupnao.com. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Application deadline: January 15, 2026.
